Beginners Yoga: 4-Week Series

The 4-week Beginner Series at Kula Yoga is the perfect place to start your practice. You’ll learn foundational postures, safe alignment, breathwork, and how to move comfortably through a class — all in a small-group setting where you can ask questions and get personalized guidance. Each week builds on the last, helping you feel prepared and confident to step into our regular scheduled classes with ease. By the end, you’ll have a solid understanding of how yoga can support your well-being, both on and off the mat.

What to Expect:

  • Foundational Poses:

    • Each week, you'll learn essential yoga poses (asanas) with detailed instructions and modifications to ensure you practice safely and effectively.

  • Breath work and Meditation:

    • Explore pranayama (breath control) techniques and guided meditation to cultivate inner peace and enhance your practice.

  • Mind-Body Connection:

    • Develop awareness of your body and breath, fostering a deeper connection to yourself and your surroundings.

  • Duration: 4 weeks (1 class per week)

  • Class Length: 60 minutes

  • Level: Suitable for complete beginners

What you need:

  • Comfortable clothing

  • A yoga mat (if you have one)

  • We supply any yoga props you might need for class

  • Plan in leaving valuables at home or in a cubby in the lobby for you. Our front desk is present and doors lock wile classes are in session.
